Belt Guard: live on Patreon

 


In NoGi, I primarily stay committed to attacking the foot: either aoki lock or straight ankle lock; but in the Gi the added gripping choices present a number of other options. A corollary to my various lapel guard against upright posture is to utilize the belt. I intended to get to belt guard in my most recent matches but the lapel was available or the opponent dived into an over/under pass
