April is the motherload of combat sports so far in 2018

We've got 3 UFCs with one of the most awaited lightweight title fights in recent memory with Khabib vs  Tony Max. The UFC leads off the first full weekend in April with Khabib vs Max, Thug Rose vs Joanna, Chiesa vs Pettis, Felder vs Iaquinta, Borg vs Moreno, Lauzon, Dunham, and Aubin-Mercier.
A week later on the 14th we get Poirer vs Gaethje which should result in a title fight for one of these guys but because its lightweight, who knows? Condit returns to action but not against Matt Brown who tore his ACL, and the rest of the card features names like Waterson, Moraga, Reis, Jotko, Tavares, Lima, Okami, and Gilbert Burns.
But waaait! There's more!
On the 21st we get Barboza vs Lee: Barboza coming off a loss to Khabib and Lee coming off a loss to Ferguson. Wild. Edgar faces Swanson, Branch faces Santos, ALjamain Sterling returns, as does Jim Miller, Sasaki, Cummins, Corey Anderson, and Nakamura.

3 Bellators - including Fedor vs Mir and Lovato, Neiman Gracie, and Dillon Danis' & Chandler vs Girtz earlier in the month and even the much delayed and hyped MMA debut  of Dilon Danis.
Bellator arrives on April 6th, April 13th, and April 28th.

An ACB JiuJitsu  event - April 14th  - feat. Pena rematching Wardzinski, Moizinho vs Paulo Miyao, Chantre vs Joao, Aly vs Keenan, Hinger vs Maidana, Calasans, Caporal, Adaev, Freitas, Magalhaes, et al.

Kasai 2 - April 14th - Middleweight Grand Prix featuring the likes of Craig Jones, DJ Jackson, Diniz, Boogeyman, and superfights featuring Nicky Ryan vs Geo Martinez and Eddie Cummings vs Canuto

Quintet takes place over in Japan - April 11th - names that include: Tokoro, Barnett, Sakuraba, Nakamura, Craig Jones, Gregor Gracie, Satoshi Ishii, Omigawa, DOng Sik Yoon, Zaromskis, and others with a team battle king of the hill style format (but no heel hooks - bummer).
