Textbook Judo Armbar: Ronday Rousey GIF Edition
Rousey hits a classic Judo armbar (jujigatame) I learned at the second club where I trained Judo (UNC-Chapel Hill's club team).
The roll/spin through underneath to coming up seated on the arm and the crossed ankles to apply pressure/negate the effort to stack/stuff the hip extension is classic/textbook Judo.
Rousey's Judo tendency to expose her back was almost taken advantage of by Carmouche in what was a great opening fight for women in the UFC.
