Over the last several years of coaching folks, through competing for the first time, both Gi and Nogi, and studying the overall trends in the sport and the positions that transfer both at the lower belts all the way up through a black belt I’ve compiled the positions and sequences that I wish I would’ve been drilling from when I started to Jitsu or early on a blue belt:
