Well.
Kazushi "The Gracie Hunter" Sakuraba faces Renzo Gracie.
Renzo gets it wrong in the trailer though, Kazushi beat 4 Gracies: Royce, Royler, Renzo, and Ryan.
Despite how old they are and despite how poorly their last MMA bouts went.....it's hard to fight the nostalgia power in this one.
14 years later, we're gonna roll it back for a submission grappling match.
The real question is what has each man been doing since then.
I have to say that Sakuraba with 3 losses to the Axe Murderer took more mileage with him from his MMA career, Renzo's terrible match in Dubai against Matt Hughes notwithstanding.
I'm excited to see the mercurial Kazushi and see a slice of what he's been up to in whatever trailer videos are eventually released.
As for the other matches, why is Kevin Casey on here AGAIN other than he's boys with the people putting it on. Garry Tonon gets another slot (not against Kron though) which is awesome and Zak Maxwell is just the man to give Garry a competitive match (*ahem Kit Dale*).
JT Torres is also an avid competitor and Lovato will bring to bear a wealth of experience as well.
